Global Worship Movement

1 Corinthians 12 states that we, the church, are one body made up of many parts, each of us with our own gifts and functions. Romans 12:1 implores us to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice and the remainder of the chapter goes on to describe that when we use our gifts in service to one another we living out Romans 12:1.

We had the honor of being hosted by Tabernacle of Prayer in Port of Spain, Trinidad for our 12 day missions trip. This is a church that has been laboring for years in service to the people of Trinidad and a church that continues it’s labor long after our departure. For 12 days we came together as One Body in Christ to collectively use our gifts in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

At Global Worship Movement is it our desire to invest long-term in the local churches and ministries whom we have the privilege of partnering with during our missions trips. As we are in the planning phase for each missions trip we are in conversation with our local hosts regarding their needs, particularly as it relates to infrastructure.

In Trinidad sound equipment and musical instruments are very hard to come by and often extremely expensive. As a result there is a significant disparity between churches who have antiquated sound equipment and those that have professional equipment.

One of the ways we were able to Sow Seeds into Tabernacle of Prayer Church was to bring a complete sound system along with instruments from the US. During our stay we used this equipment as we traveled between churches, schools, the prison, and outdoor events. At the completion of our trip we were able to provide this professional sound system, all the cables, guitar amp, and a new 88-key keyboard with the church for a significantly
reduced cost than if they had purchased and shipped the equipment directly.

As a result Tabernacle of Prayer now has critical infrastructure that will allow them to grow their worship team, do outdoor outreach events, and reach more people for Christ in their local community.
